Terms & Conditions

Fair terms for a free tool.

Last updated: June 12, 2026

1. Agreement to these terms.

By using EsyBill (esybill.com), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, simply don’t use the site — there is no account to close, because there are no accounts.

2. What EsyBill is.

EsyBill is a free tool for calculating how a shared expense divides between people. It encodes the bill into a shareable link and shows each person their share. That is the entire service.

EsyBill is a calculator, not a payments service. It does not move money, hold funds, or connect to banks. How you and your friends settle up is entirely between you.

3. Acceptable use.

Use EsyBill for its intended purpose: splitting bills. Don’t attempt to abuse, overload, or disrupt the service, and don’t use bill links to distribute unlawful, deceptive, or harmful content.

4. Your bills and your links.

Bills are encoded into the links you create and stored in your own browser. You are responsible for the content you put into a bill and for whom you share links with. Anyone holding a link can view that bill.

5. Accuracy of calculations.

EsyBill computes shares in whole cents and distributes any remainder so totals always add up. While we work hard to keep the math correct, you are responsible for verifying amounts before settling real money on them.

6. The service is provided "as is".

EsyBill is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.

7. Changes to the service or terms.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of EsyBill at any time. We may also revise these terms; the date above reflects the latest version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

8. Contact.
