Why equal split is harder than it looks
₹1,000 divided by 3 is ₹333.33333... — a repeating decimal that no currency handles well. Most calculators round down, leaving a gap between the sum of shares and the actual total. Somebody silently absorbs the difference. EsyBill distributes the remaining cents one each across participants so the shares always add up to the exact total. No silent overpayer, no floating gap.
This matters more than it sounds when splitting large amounts. ₹45,000 rent among 3 people: ₹15,000 exactly. ₹10,001 among 3 people: two people pay ₹3,333 and one pays ₹3,335. EsyBill handles this automatically — you just enter the total and add the names.

How do I split an amount equally between people?
Enter the total amount into EsyBill, add everyone's names, and the calculator divides it equally — including fair distribution of any leftover cents so shares always sum exactly to the total.
What if the amount doesn't divide evenly?
EsyBill works in whole cents. If the total can't be divided perfectly, the remaining cents are distributed one each across the first few participants. No one overpays by more than 1 cent.
Can I split any amount equally — not just bills?
